This page will show some of the birds we have in our Aviary. I'll let you know who is breeding and who is a pet and a little about them. Enjoy!

This is Magic, the same Quaker in our logo. He is my first Quaker and I'm hooked. What awesome little birds these are. He's quite a talker and has taught Mystic to talk too. He even laughs when we do. At night you can hear him in his cage saying "Hi Magic, what are you doing? HAHAHAHAHAHA" If the other birds had pillows I'm sure they'd throw them at him! Most of the time he says "Hey baby, what are you doing?" LOL

This is Magic now. He's almost 2 years old and not a day goes by that he doesn't amaze me with his sweet personality. You gotta get a Quaker!

doritomax.jpg

This is Max, our Maximillion Pionus. He absolutely loves tostitos. He likes being out of his cage and wandering around visiting the other birds. He is such a sweetie and although he can't talk he does give lots of kisses.  Max has a lovely wife coming to us from Toronto soon. We're very excited about meeting her. She has yet to be named so we'll post her picture when we get a name for her.

Mocha. I miss you.

parakeet.jpg

This is Yokas our moustache parakeet. It isn't a very good picture of her. Her mate Bosco (ya, I was a big fan of Third Watch) is always hiding. He's very shy.

It is with great sadness that I have to say that shortly after this picture was taken Yokas passed away. Her mate Bosco is still with us and misses her very much, as do we.

waffles.jpg

Here are a few of the cockatiels that we have. These tiels all come out and have breakfast with us in the morning. If the kids decide to have waffles and the tiels are out they practically have to eat in another room or be robbed! We have about 24cockatiels as of now and typically have babies that are being handfed. I raise my babies to be sweet little birds that love their humans. Check the cockatiels for sale page often and see what's new in the nestboxes!

mystic1.jpg

Earlier this year I purchased this little sweetheart as a gift for my husband. We found out the baby is a male through dna testing. Mystic and my husband instantly bonded and now Mystic is a bit older and talks very well thanks to my Magic! Mystic was purchased from Judy at Morning Sun Aviaries. See the links page to contact Judy if you would like to see her gorgeous birds and babies. I highly recommend her and the other breeders I have listed there as well. Thanks Judy, Mystic is a real treasure!

3babies.jpg

These 3 darlings are all adopted. Leo and Amanda are the proud new bird owned couple. They will be taking the babies home soon! Congrats!

meandhyacinth1.jpg

This is me holding a Hyacinth Macaw. I had all I could do to hold this bird up but wow, what a beautiful bird she is!

meandhyacinth.jpg

As soon as I got in the door at Judy's (Morning Sun Aviaries, see link under links page) I reached for the Macaw. I so hope I can own one of these someday!

ocean7weeksold.jpg

This is Ocean, my baby Blue and Gold Macaw. She is only 2 months old in this picture which was taken August 8th, 2006. She has a lot of growing to do but she is doing great. Very attentive and smart little girl. Keep watching for updated pictures of her and my other fids!

ocean.jpg

Here is Ocean on October 23rd. She was enjoying pizza and holding food with her foot for basically the first time. She had been trying to use her foot for the last month or so but couldn't keep her balance until now! YAY OCEAN!!

This is another picture of Mocha.

This is one of the babies we purchased from Peggy. He's an Alexandrine named Spike.

Spike has a wonderful vocabulary as do most of our birds.
